This 6th edition of Future Discussions features Max More, former CEO, now Ambassador, and President Emeritus of Alcor Life Extension Foundation. At the time this interview was recorded in 2019 Max was still the CEO of Alcor. The interview is on cryonics and the work Alcor is doing as a pioneering organization. (Cryonics is the practice of preserving life by pausing the dying process using subfreezing temperatures with the intent of restoring good health with medical technology in the future.) – In this interview, we delved into the science behind cryonics, and the work Alcor is doing as a pioneer organization in this area. – Max addresses some of the doubts people have with cryonics and signing up for the program. – We equally looked at some legal angles that people might be concerned about and how those can be properly factored in. Though recorded in 2019, the information Max shared in this interview is still very relevant to the questions on cryonics today.
