Temitayo O. Olaniyan

Temitayo O. Olaniyan is a seasoned researcher and scholar. He completed his first degree in Banking & Finance at the prestigious Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti in 2015 and graduated in the top quadrant. He currently pursues a higher graduate degree at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is an associate member of several professional institutes including the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria. Even though his research interests cover a broad range of finance topics, Olaniyan has a particular interest which spans both financial aspects of development and the development of economic and political institutions’ and he currently unearths the role of the financial sector development in ensuring the growth benefits of migrants’ transfers for countries in the African region. Olaniyan has collaborated actively with researchers to publish articles in reputable finance and management journals including Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review on several other areas of finance. He is currently a Managing Editor (Research) and Advisor to TAFFDS. He is also a reviewer for several domestic and international academic journals, including World Journal of Economics and Finance. From 2012-2015, he was a research assistant at the Department of Banking & Finance (Now, Finance), Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. Olaniyan, as for recreation enjoys playing table tennis, scrabble and other brain games.
